The visual art and sound are absolutely fabulous and the story is charming and engaging. Overall the puzzles are not really hard. I've never been really stuck long, which is a perfect game flow to play this one with a child again. Can absolutely recommend it to point and click and hand drawn animation fans.. A very clever and heart-filled game! Like with most point and click adventures, there were a few puzzles that tripped me up, but that seems inherent in the genre. What sets TSIOQUE apart is a main character with a very clear and strong personality! The Princess of the game is very bold in her plans and schemes and scowls throughout the entire game. The basic plot, which you may surmise from the trailer, is that the Princess lives with her beautiful and kind mother, the Queen, but one day while the Queen must go fight a dire threat, the evil wizard rules the castle. The Princess is locked away in the dungeons, but as the game says the wizard made a dire mistake in putting only one mere lock between him and the Princess. From there you have your typical and very charming point and click adventure. The art style is wonderful and very fluid! The sound design is on-point, and best of all the story itself is very charming. The "twist" of the game itself is not a shock, but I'm not sure it's meant to be. Older players will see it coming a mile away, a story about family, but to me, it doesn't take away from the heart of the game. You can tell it comes from a very personal place on the developer's side, which makes it all the more heart warming. For younger gamers, I would *highly* recommend no matter what, but even if you're older, if charming point and clicks are your thing, then the game is ageless!. great game! The story is pretty interesting.. Fun little adventure game. Graphics are awesome, story is nice, puzzles make sense and I had a lot of good laugh during playing this one. If you'd like to spend a good afternoon, give this one a try!. This game has been at the top of my wishlist since I joined Steam. I backed this game a little more than three years ago, and having completed a run of the game I would say the wait has been well worth it.What drew me to Tsioque initially was its beautiful frame-by-frame illustrations. Before the Kickstarter, I had seen some of the creator's work on Newgrounds in the short film lucky day forever, and the quality of the meticulously hand-drawn animation of the characters was consistently superb throughout. The other thing that sold me was the story, which on its face is fairly simple: Tsioque, a brave and imaginative young princess, seeks to escape the evil wizard who usurped the kingdom while her mother, the Good Queen, was away. As one might conclude by her adorably scowly-faced expression, Tsioque is undaunted by said wizard, and utterly unimpressed by his commands to "be quiet" and leave him in peace. As the determined Princess steadily progresses on her plan of escape -- decimating all obstacles and hilariously hapless minions in her wake -- hints at a different perspective parallelling hers begin to emerge... which, in turn, adds a deeper appreciation and significance to the game's story as all becomes clear at the end. The game difficulty was pretty fair for this kind of game. The fact that you didn't have to start over from the very beginning of a section or long cutscene after making a mistake largely helped to avoid frustration, and there were usually several clues to keep from getting stuck and not knowing what to do next. It also has good replay value; there are a number of achievements for mini-games which are difficult to get on the first try, but completely doable once you know the trick and proper timing. If there was one thing I'd recommend, I would say a hint system would help for people who aren't as used to this kind of game. From what I've seen elsewhere, though, it seems like the devs are already aware and working on that.My advice is to CLICK ALL THE THINGS! Even the fail animations are cute. Tsioque trying to shove a entire suit of armor into her ordinary little pocket was probably my favorite. It makes sense too, that a tiny girl would find it impossible to pick up and carry something like chainmail or an helmet about half her size.To conclude, Tsioque is a work of love, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who remembers what it was like to be a child and/or who has a child of their own.. Tsioque is a remarkable point-and-click adventure game, made by the same creators of Tormentum: Dark Sorrow. So expect a great experience ahead!The impressive hand drawn animations make it feel like you're playing an interactive cartoon! There is so much detail and care put in each scenario and characters. The soundtrack is also very beautiful and pleasant. The story seems simple and straightforward at first, but an unexpected "twist" reveals a deep and heartwarming surprise.Tsioque is one of the best adventure games released this year and I genuinely recommend it!
